We created UK Vein Clinic to offer world-class treatment at the fairest price.
Our fixed price treatment package includes:
The vast majority (around 75%) of our patients with visible varicose veins will require endothermal ablation for which we use a radiofrequency technology. Our comprehensive package includes the entire clinical pathway from diagnostic assessment, treatment with our vascular consultants through to the exceptional aftercare support, much valued by our patients. This will treat the condition of venous incompetence or vein disease which is the underlying cause of the varicose veins.
Our pricing is kept as simple as possible with a price for 1 leg (unilateral) £2,635 or 2 legs (bilateral) £3,435.

Diagnostic Assessment
Comprehensive mapping of your leg veins with a vascular scientist using doppler ultrasound in accordance with the gold standard prescribed by NICE.
This important step ensures that all diseased veins are identified and that only diseased veins are treated.
Included
Appointment with a vascular doctor
This will allow us to take your medical history, mitigate any pre-treatment risk factors, and prepare you for treatment.
Included
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and foam sclerotherapy treatment
We use the more expensive radiofrequency technology to ablate veins. It reduces patient discomfort and minimises the risk of post-treatment complications. RFA is the gold standard technology for varicose vein treatment.
Included
Treatment guarantee* for veins treated with RFA
Following RFA treatment, our vascular doctors will assess your veins to confirm successful closure of treated veins. If these veins have not successfully closed, we promise to retreat those veins at no extra cost to you.
Included
Our 24-hour aftercare support following treatment
Our nurse-led team are on hand to answer any queries you have. Following treatment, you’ll get a call from us to see how you’re getting on – all our patients will then be seen 6 weeks post-treatment to see how you’re healing and confirm if further treatment is required.
Included
Follow up appointment
Includes an assessment of the veins using ultrasound to ensure veins are closed and further treatment with foam sclerotherapy as clinically required.
Included
Total cost of primary treatment (unilateral/bilateral)
£2,635 / £3,435
Additional costs, priced separately
Further treatment session
£300 / £150 if purchased as part of initial package
Avulsions if clinically necessary (unilateral/bilateral)
£500 / £700
Following a detailed assessment of your veins, our vascular experts will confirm whether the veins needing treatment are reticular veins or thread veins. Depending on the type of veins, you’ll either be recommended foam sclerotherapy or microsclerotherapy treatment.
For most of our patients, a minimum of 3 treatments are required to effectively remove thread veins on the legs. That’s why our packages are designed to give you the best outcomes – always delivered by an expert doctor.

At UK Vein Clinic, we’re on a mission to change how people feel about their varicose veins. That’s why every step of your treatment journey has been designed with you in mind – to get you back to feeling your best. But here’s why our patients choose us:
Exceptional clinical outcomes start with the expertise of your consultant. That’s why all our specialists are leaders in varicose vein treatment, bringing unparalleled skill, knowledge, and experience to every procedure. We draw on a hand-picked team of world-class vascular consultants to provide your treatment, you're in the best hands for achieving outstanding results.
True expertise in varicose vein treatment comes from consultants specifically trained in vascular medicine, with the depth of knowledge and experience our patients deserve when it comes to their vein health.
At the UK Vein Clinic, we hold ourselves to the highest standards, and our approach reflects this commitment. The NHS entrusts varicose vein patients to vascular consultants – and so do we. With us, you can feel confident that your care is in the hands of the very best.
The ability to deliver world-class outcomes for our patients is directly correlated to the quality of diagnostic assessment provided. It’s for this reason that our care pathway follows the gold standard guidance provided by NICE, The Society for Clinical Vascular Science and the European Society of Vascular Science.
We exclusively use specialist Vascular Scientists, accredited by the College and Society of Clinical Vascular Science, to perform your vein mapping. Using the latest Doppler ultrasound technology, they identify the exact source of your vein disease with accuracy and expertise. This detailed mapping is the cornerstone of effective treatment, ensuring the outstanding results our patients have come to expect.
Whilst some providers might offer low-cost scans as a marketing tool, we never compromise on quality. Scans conducted by clinicians without specialist vascular training can introduce unnecessary risks to your treatment outcome. At UK Vein Clinic, our Vascular Scientists are rigorously trained, tested to the highest standards, and perform ultrasound scans every day as part of their professional clinical practice.
Just as the NHS relies on qualified vascular scientists to map veins before treatment, so do we. With our commitment to precision and excellence, you can trust that every step of your care is designed to achieve the best possible results.
Around 75% of patients with varicose veins require treatment for their truncal veins, which lie deeper within the venous system. At UK Vein Clinic, we use state-of-the-art radiofrequency ablation (RFA) technology to treat these veins. Clinically proven to minimise discomfort and reduce the risk of complications, RFA ensures you receive the safest and most comfortable care available.
Although RFA is a more expensive technology, we believe our patients deserve nothing less than the best. That’s why it’s the only method we use for deeper vein treatments.
This same technology is widely regarded as the gold standard for endothermal venous ablation, used by the NHS in over 7,500 procedures each year. RFA’s advanced heat delivery system eliminates the risks of “user error” associated with other techniques, such as laser-based treatments, ensuring greater precision and consistently excellent outcomes.
No matter what stage of the journey you’re at, you’ll always feel supported. The human body can be unpredictable, and recovery can look different from patient to patient, but our aftercare team are always available to help.
While rare, it’s well-recognised that in a small percentage of patients, treated veins may not fully close after the procedure. We take every possible step to minimise this risk by using the most advanced radiofrequency technology and working exclusively with expert Vascular Consultants.
However, we believe you shouldn’t have to worry about this possibility. That’s why our RFA treatment package comes with a guarantee: if the veins we treat with RFA do not successfully close, we’ll retreat those veins at no additional cost for up to a year following your initial procedure.
This is our commitment to your care and peace of mind—because we believe in delivering not just world-class treatment, but also the reassurance and results you deserve.
We know that prioritising your health can sometimes be difficult with access to treatment of the NHS more restricted than ever. But that’s why we promise to only ever charge you a single fixed cost for your treatment, with no unexpected surprises. Our fair and transparent pricing is designed to help you make the Smart Choice for your Vein Health.

Most varicose vein removal treatments in the UK are not covered by the NHS. Varicose veins may be covered if they are severe enough to cause discomfort. However, this is usually not the case, and in these less severe cases the treatment will not be covered by the NHS.
Although more expensive, radiofrequency ablation has been found to reduce discomfort associated with treatment and to reduce the risk of post treatment complications. Heat is required to ablate varicose veins and RFA is the most accurate delivery system on the market. This means there’s a reduced chance of scarring or bruising, leaving you with better, lasting results.
We're pleased to be able to provide our world-class varicose vein treatment in a variety of places throughout the United Kingdom. Learn more about your treatment options, including endovenous radio-frequency ablation (EVRF) and foam sclerotherapy, at the clinic closest to you
